Police encounter in Renala Khurd Renala Khurd, a small town located near Sahiwal, Pakistan, was the scene of a police encounter.  The encounter took place in the outskirts of the town, near the suburb village Sixteen 1. Two robbers were killed and two others escaped during the encounter. According to police reports, a group of armed robbers had entered a house in the outskirts of Renala Khurd and taken the family hostage. The police were alerted and immediately surrounded the house. A brief exchange of fire took place, resulting in the deaths of two of the robbers. The other two robbers managed to escape. The police have recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition from the scene of the encounter. They are also investigating the identities of the robbers.
